Frontliner - Somebody Say Yeah [KIU011]

A new track by Frontliner is going to be released on his own label Keep it Up Music - Somebody Say Yeah! The song starts right away with a nice distorted sound in a driving rhythm which gets accompanied by a kick and deep reversed bass after a short build up. The midintro itself is quite short, which is quite usual in the current Hardstyle scene though. After this the break starts with a neat buildup to the hectic main melody - which isn't exactly a bad thing since it has a nice drive. As soon as the climax hits you really get catched by the track. The second lead which appears later on in the climax reminds of the I'm The Melodyman main lead, which is both a nice support for the drive of the track and a reminder to the previous mentioned track. All in all Frontliner produced a good track after a few, for me, disappointing ones.
It will be released on the 14th April, the official preview is embedded below :)

Avicii - Levels (Amazed Bootleg)

Everybody knows the song Levels by Avicii. And ofcourse hardstyle artists couldn't resist to edit it into a hardstyle song, like Amazed did. the songs starts right away with a nice, clean kick in the intro and  the original vocals in the background. Then follows the break which transists nicely with synths. After that, the nice melody of Levels begins to fade in and it is accompanied of the vocals. then the climax kicks in with a very nice kick-rhythm, that goes on throughouth the climax. It also has another short break with the vocals and again the melody fades in and the second climax starts with a slightly changed melody which adds some variation into the song. After the second climax there is only a simple outro with a synth in  the background and the kick, which actually only exists for mixing purposes. All in all Amazed catched the atmosphere of the original song nicely and made it into a hardstyle song you even can download for free ;) I will provide you a download link and the YouTube-preview:

Coone - Beat on my drum [DWX076]

On New Years Day Coone released a new track on Dirty Works: Beat on my drum. It starts right away with the vocals which fit quite nice to the track and make the track nice for an event. besides that we have in the mid-intro a standard Coone-kick and standard Coone-sounds, nothing outstanding. Same comes with the climax, a simple build-up with the vocals and Coones standard square-saw-synth as main lead. In my opinion this track resembles Coone style from his last releases and his album The Challenge, it sounds nice and will go nice on parties but with the time this style gets quite boring, he should try something new. You can get the song on www.hardstyle.com and I provide you on the bottom the official music video. Enjoy! :)

B-Front - Virus [FUSION127]

Hello,

so this is my first blog post :) I'm gonna review all new Hardstyle releases, at least the ones from the big labels and also the ones from the smaller labels.
First I will start with the master of the raw hardstyle with epic atmospheres: B-Front. He created with Virus another banger: a very nice build-up with breaks and a building up synth paired with very-well produced, crunchy kicks. Then comes a break, again like before the mid-intro with the voices and the main vocals: "The virus escaped..." After that the lead comes in with a simple melody and fades into a screech-like synth that creates again with the kick an awesome anti-climax. Then the same thing again, just with pitching kicks.
In my opinion it is a very nice song, which fits B-Fronts typical style. It's a nice end for the succesful hardstyle year 2011 :) You can get this song on www.hardstyle.com, for a first glance at the song you can listen to the official preview on YouTube:

See you soon, GreenKillah
